The Afonwen Craft and Antique Centre is built on the site of the former Caerwys Railway station (the line between Mold and Denbigh was abandoned in 1962), and the architecture reflects its past functionality.
The ground level contains several display cases of miniature porcelain and other antiques, a gift shop, the Edenshine restaurant, and a room where various local crafters show and sell their products.
