One of Britain’s many spectacular wild gardens.
So what makes it different? Well, for a start, it has plants and trees from all over the world from places such as China, South America and Japan. Another thing which separates Bodnant Gardens from other gardens in the UK is the fact that it has 16 champion trees.
One of which towers up to 49 metres high! If you don’t know, champion trees are trees which are exceptional examples of their species due to their great age, enormous size, rarity or historical significance. Many of the champion trees here would have been brought back from far places across the glove my plant hunters as seeds.
Bodnant Garden is the perfect family day out for all weather occasions but the best time to visit is around early May when the flowers bloom and all the true colours come out. Bodnant Garden is also famous for its laburnum arch which flowers in late May. (insert a picture of the arch here please).
The Gardens and Tea Room are open every day of the week from 10.00-16.00 except for the 25th and 26th of December when both are closed.
With over 80 acres of land to explore, Bodnant Gardens is the perfect place for walkies with your dogs.
