Conwy Castle is undoubtedly one of the most impressive historic sites in North Wales and a popular tourist attraction in the region. Guarding the mouth of the Conwy Estuary, the castle and walls were built in the 13th century at a cost of £15,000 by the English king Edward I and have stood the test of time ever since.
